The annual 100,00 Ganachakra Puja of year 2022 is held on the first month of the lunar calendar which falls on the choetrul Duechen. The Chötrul Düchen celebrates the fifteen days during which the Buddha displayed miracles for his disciples so as to increase their devotion. During Chötrul Düchen month ("Great Day of Miraculous Manifestations"), it is believed that the effects of both positive and negative actions are multiplied ten million times.

This practice of 100,000 Ganachakra offering according to the most profound practice of Kunchok chidu was lead by Simdha Getul Rinpoche and organised by Orgyen Pema Buddhist Society. It is said that There are many ways to accomplish Guru Rinpoche’s mind, but this is one of the highest and most secret way. Guru Rinpoche says: If someone even just opens a book of this text, the surroundings become rich and peaceful, and all wars become reduced. If you have devotion and wish to practice this text, even if you are an animal, it helps you to attain a pure land.

All practices on the path to buddhahood are methods for gathering the accumulations of merit and wisdom and for purifying our obscurations. These two processes of accumulation and purification go hand in hand; as we accumulate more merit and wisdom, our obscurations automatically diminish. the Secret Mantra Vajrayana features countless skilful and powerful methods which, if they are practised in the proper way, can make the process of accumulation and purification incredibly swift and direct. One such method is the practice of tsok, which is primarily a practice of offering. It is not just a practice of offering however; it is also a powerful method for purifying our samaya. Sometimes it is said that the best method for purifying samaya is the fire offering, and tsok practice is the ‘inner fire offering.’ Tsok is a very rich practice with many layers of meaning, and it can be practised on various levels. It is said that as ordinary beings we are only able to imitate the real tsok practice, which is performed by the dakas and dakinis.

There are many benefits of offering Ganachakra and we would like to quote here some of them :-

  • In The Two Segments, we find it states that Whatever one eats, all the sensual delights, For the practitioners will transform into siddhis.

  • In the wish fulfilling jewel is it found mentioned that The faults of the transgressions of samaya will be dispelled, Everything unfavourable will be defeated, One will accomplish whatever one desires, One will gather the accumulation of merit, All food will bestow siddhis, The remainder deities and spirits will be satisfied. Through the ritual of the gaṇacakra, Which swiftly grants the prophecy for receiving the siddhi of mahāmudrā, One will reach the desired goal.

  • The Vajra-Net states that Amongst the accumulations of merit, gaṇacakra is supreme. All one's wishes for this life will be accomplished, Negative forces and obstacles will be pacified. In the next, in the realm of the victorious vidyādharas, One will reach the level of Samantabhadra.

  • The Saṃvarodaya; the Tantra of the Arising of Śaṃvara states that Abundant happiness, Freedom from disease, a virtuous mind, [All] wishes will be fulfilled and final release will be attained. Thus abundant siddhis will be gathered.

  • The Naturally Arisen Perfection Tantra states that The obscurations of countless past and future lives, Will all be purified in a mere instant in the presence of the peaceful and wrathful deities. Wherever one is born in lives to come, One will never lack necessities, The wheel of Dharma will never cease to turn for you, And one will always have abundant wealth, enjoyments, Sustenance and belongings. These are the temporary benefits. There are also the higher qualities that one will receive: In the intermediate state, one will recognize one’s own perception as the wisdoms. Being liberated there, one will remain on the unchanging ground, Sending forth emanations throughout the three thousand-fold universe, To benefit beings. Qualities like this one will attain!

  • On Khandro Yeshé Tsogyel’s two-hundred and eleventh birthday, her time of teaching the beings of this world had come to an end, as foretold by the Lotus Guru, her consort. And, just as Guru Padmasambhava had departed to the Copper-Colored Mountain one hundred and thirty-one years before, so she too was now bound to do so. Having bestowed final Ati pith instructions upon her eleven root disciples, thus liberating them all, she announced that in five days, on the eighth of the Tibetan month, they would all climb to the summit of Mount Zapbu and see a great wonder: the Copper-Colored Mountain. As they made their way up the mountain, close disciples and fortunate followers made vast feast offerings, supplicated Khandro Yeshé Tsogyel not to depart, and received her advice, instructions, and prophecies. Throughout the night of the eighth and the ninth day, myriads of ḍākinīs then appeared in the sky, each with different colors, steeds, weapons, ornaments, and postures, singing and dancing their praises and offerings to Khandro Yeshé Tsogyel. She in turn made a vast feast offering (ganachakra) and, at dusk, made her way up to the summit of the mountain, which was indeed heart-shaped like the Copper-Colored Mountain. There, a host of rākṣasas and the four Guardian Kings successively came to invite Khandro Yeshé Tsogyel to the Guru’s pure land. All the spirits and deities of the land of Tibet then also appeared, and upon all who requested, she bestowed final prophecies and instructions. Finally, on the tenth day of the month, a palanquin of light in the form of an eight-petaled lotus appeared with the first light of dawn, borne by four ḍākinīs. The Lady stepped onto it, a ḍāmaru in her right hand and skull-cup in her left. Becoming radiant with five-colored light, she dissolved into a sphere of deep blue light, and disappeared. The four ḍākinīs then raised the shimmering light upon the four-petalled lotus high into the air until it disappeared. All those present cried out and lamented, weeping and wailing in supplication. Then Khandro Yeshé Tsogyel’s voice resounded from a cloud of brilliant light, bestowing a final teaching that concluded in this way: On the tenth of the waxing moon and on the tenth of the waning moon, On the eighth and the fifteenth, Gather the gaṇacakra and make offerings. Offering the gaṇacakra merely once will close the doors to the lower realms, And you will not even return and take birth as a human again. Understand that this can be established with certainty, through logic.
