Simdha Getul Rinpoche led the 8th annual one hundred thousand accumulation of Ganachakra (Bumtsok) near the revered and precious Boudha Stupa in Nepal, a profoundly sacred site, during the auspicious month of Saka Dawa; a time when the power of merit and prayers is said to be multiplied manifold.

The Annual Maha Guru Bumtsok began on June 4 and continued until the 10th Guru Rinpoche Day of this holy month. On the second day of the ceremony, a radiant rainbow appeared above the monastery ; a rare and auspicious sign, symbolizing the presence and blessings of the enlightened ones. May the blessings of this sign reach all beings. May the enlightened activities of the precious Guru flourish without limit, and may the precious Guru enjoy a long, healthy life for the benefit of all sentient beings.

The sacred Bumtsok gathering concluded joyfully on Guru Rinpoche Day, with the presence of devoted lamas, accomplished yogis, and sincere lay practitioners. The atmosphere was filled with deep devotion, joy, and boundless merit.

In alignment with the spirit of Saka Dawa, a time not only for spiritual practice but also for meaningful action,  we extended the Bumtsok’s blessings through acts of compassion. After the conclusion of the offering, daily ration supplies were distributed to around 50 families, and school bags and stationery were offered to underprivileged children in a remote village in Sindhupalchowk, about five hours’ drive from Kathmandu.

These humble offerings were dedicated to bring relief to those in need, to support the education of children, and to inspire greater compassion in all our hearts.

May all merit generated through prayer, practice, and compassionate action bring peace, healing, and ultimate liberation to all sentient beings.May these heartfelt offerings to Orgyen Maha Guru Rinpoche dispel obstacles, bring peace and healing, and benefit all sentient beings everywhere.

May the merit of this sacred offering benefit all sentient beings, dispel obstacles, and swiftly lead all to the realization of their innate wisdom nature. May the blessings of Guru Rinpoche pervade all directions and times. May the blessings of Orgyen Maha Guru Rinpoche pervade all directions. May our most precious guru, Kyabje Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche, live long and continue to turn the Wheel of Dharma for the benefit of all.
