Simdha Getul Namdak Choying Rinpoche reached Jakarta on 30th March, 2017 and met all the dharma friends and sangha from Jarkarta, Indonesia. It has been very delightful and beautiful experience even for Rinpoche and for everyone else. It was first time in 2015 when Rinpoche went to Indonesia for teachings and dharma activities. It is the second time that Rinpoche has visited Jakarta and during this visit, Rinpoche has given the empowerment of Kunchok Chidu, Minling Dorsem, Avalokitesvara, Amitayus Long Life and some secret empowerments to the close group of vajrayana practioners. Apart from the puja and the empowerments, Rinpoche has given several dharma teachings at the above mentioned venue and also at Binus University, Jakarta.

On 4th April, Rinpoche led the life releasing activity with the dharma friends from Jakarta. They bought many sea animals who were about to be killed by the butchers and thereafter, send the animals back to their natural state in the sea. While practising the life releasing activity ( the practise of Tsetar), it can be any animals which were in captivity, or condemned to death to provide food, etc. Among the auspicious animals are turtles to pray for longevity and fish to pray for enlightenment. (The individual loses the ego and becomes one with the universe just as the fish, upon being released, become on with the ocean.) During the release, prayers are performed, and the beneficial merit is dedicated for the welfare of all beings.

We dedicate the merits from the practice of life releasings, teachings and prayers to the benefit of all beings, to secure the lives of the glorious masters and practitioners, and to flourish the Buddha Dharma. 

 

May all sentient beings enjoy happiness and the causes of  happiness;

May they be free from suffering and the causes of suffering;

May they never be separated from the great happiness devoid of suffering;

And may they dwell in the great equanimity that is free from attachment and aversion.
