On June 16, 2025, Simdha Getul Rinpoche offered heartfelt prayers and sacred offerings to the Nāgas at one of the holiest nāga shrines in Kathmandu — Budhanilkantha (Lu Gangyel).

May these offerings bring harmony to the natural elements, pacify unseen obstacles, and invoke the blessings of health, prosperity, and spiritual awakening for all beings. May our relationship with the elemental spirits and unseen realms be grounded in deep respect, gratitude, and sacred balance.

༄༅། ཀླུ་རྒྱལ་དགའ་བོ་ཉེ་དགའ་དང་། །

lu gyal gawo nyer ga dang

May the Nāga Kings Nanda and Upananda,

བསྟན་ལ་དད་པའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་དང་། །

ten la depé lha nam dang

And all the deities who have faith in the Dharma,

རྒྱལ་པོ་སྦྱིན་བདག་ཉིད་དང་ནི། །

gyalpo jindak nyi dang ni

As well as kings and patrons,

སེམས་ཅན་འཕོངས་པ་ཇི་སྙེད་པ། །

semchen pongpa jinyé pa

And all sentient beings who suffer from poverty,

ཚེ་རིང་ནད་མེད་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས། །

tsering nemé pün sum tsok

May they enjoy long life, perfect health, and abundance,

གཏན་དུ་བདེ་བ་ཐོབ་པར་ཤོག །

tendu dewa tobpar shok

And may they attain unchanging and lasting happiness!
