Ganachakra practice is the one of the main practices of Simdha Getul Rinpoche and this is the 4th year, Orgyen Pema is holding the 100,000 accumulation of Ganachakra Puja during the holy month of Saka Dawa - a meritorious month. The full moon day of Saka Dawa is the date most commonly associated with not only Buddha’s birth but also his enlightenment and parinirvana. This meritorious month carries a special aspect whereby any good deeds performed during the month are rewarded with one hundred million times greater good karma. These meritorious activities revolve around early teachings of sila (morality), dana (generosity) and bhavana (meditation). This accumulation of one hundred thousand of Ganachakra practice according to the cycle of Kunchok Chidu especially during the holy month of Saka Dawa has great virtue and immense merit. In the wish fulfilling jewel, it is found mentioned that the faults of the transgressions of samaya will be dispelled, everything unfavourable will be defeated, one will accomplish whatever one desires, one will gather the accumulation of merit, all food will bestow siddhis, the remainder deities and spirits also will be satisfied. Through the ritual of the Ganachakra, which swiftly grants the prophecy for receiving the siddhi of mahāmudrā, one will reach the desired goal. The Tantra of the Arising of Śaṃvara; The Saṃvarodaya states that abundant happiness, freedom from disease, a virtuous mind, all wishes will be fulfilled and final release will be attained. Thus, abundant siddhis will be gathered.
