Simdha Getul Rinpoche will lead 9th Annual One Hundred Thousand accumulation of Ganachakra (Bumtsok) near the revered and precious Boudha Stupa in Nepal, a profoundly sacred site, during this auspicious month of Saka Dawa — a time when the power of merit and prayers is said to be multiplied manifold. The Annual Maha Guru Bumtsok will begin on May 24 and continued until the 10th Guru Rinpoche Day of this holy month.
The annual Bumtsok Puja (accumulation of feast offerings) will be followed by the Konchok Chidu cycle, known as the ‘Embodiment of the Precious Ones.’ This is a terma cycle revealed by the great Jatson Nyingpo (1585-1656) focused on Padmasambhava. The practice concentrates on Padmasambhava and includes all three roots.
