Dharma activity of Simdha Getul Rinpoche in Bali, Indonesia

Simdha Getok Rinpoche will arrive in Bali from Jakarta at 12:35 pm and those who would like to join at  arrival of Rinpoche to Bali airport. 

September 23, 2023 

Rinpoche will go to Bangli at 8 am in the morning and on his arrival in Bangli, Rinpoche will do the Naga Sang puja and then afterwards, proceed with the enlightenment Stupa consecration that was built in Bangli. After lunch, those who would like to take refuge under rinpoche can come along and also can request a short transmission that would allow within the time frame.  

This is the enlightenment stupa built by Ida Srii Bagawan Ratnashantana Sebali and Ida Srii Bagawan Istri Ratnasantira Sebali according to the tradition of Tibetan vajrayana in Griya Ratnashriputra Tamanbali, Bangli. This enlightenment stupa is dedicated for the dharma and the social activity. It is built under the guidance of H.E. 7th Simdha Getok Tulku Namdak Choying Rinpoche with the support of Rinpoche's disciples of Orgyen Pema Indonesia who resides in Bali. This stupa is consecrated with the precious relic of one thousand Buddha which is originated from Tibet and received from H.E 7th Simdha Getok Rinpoche himself.

Rinpoche will do wangdrup at 9:30 am and  bestow the empowerment of Guru Sampa Lhundrup at 2.30 pm. At the conclusion of the empowerment, Ganachakra and special dedication will be held. When the master Padmasambhava was leaving for the land of the rākṣasa ogres in the south-west, the prince Mutri Tsenpo, then, who was the ruler of Tibet, was in great distress and requested Guru not to leave and in his despearation, seeked guru for his protection and asked in great agony, " what it will be of him, his land, his people and every being in the absence of Guru?" To this, Guru spoke, "King of Gungthang, patrons of the Dharma, ruler and subjects, carry out my instructions and practise this treasure teaching. For this is when my compassion, Padma’s compassion, will come, ever more swift and strong. Pray to me, constantly." Along with this treasure, Guru Padmasambhava gave such 13 similar pith instructions which were later concealed as treasure by Prince Mutri Tsenpo under the instruction of Guru Padmasambhava and this was discovered by Terton Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa. 

Prince Mutri Tsenpo mentioned that reciting these prayers whenever you feel threatened by suffering. To me and my unbroken royal line, and to those with the good fortune of acting according to Dharma, in general, all the buddhas are extremely kind: in particular, the Guru is inconceivably kind. So listen to my words, the words of a king who protects the Dharma: pray to the Guru constantly, and with deep devotion. From the slope of Drak Rinchen Barwa in Norbu Pünsüm in Dokham, he revealed the thirteen pith instructions of ‘The Guru’s Heart Practice: The Wish-Fulfilling Jewel’—Lamé Tukdrup Yishin Norbu. This prayer forms the outer practice of this revelation.

Rinpoche will bestow the empowerment of Chime Phakme Nyingtik Tagon (the preparatory) Empowerment at 7 pm and the Ngozhi (the main part) of the empowerment will be given on September 29, 2023. It is extremely important to receive the tagon empowerment before receiving the Ngozhi empowerment if any one wishes to receive the complete empowerment. 

The Chime Phakme Nyingtik is a practice that accomplishes the three deities of longevity; Amitayus, White Tara and Ushnishavijaya. There are many practices that accomplish each of the three deities individually, but the Chime Pakme Nyingtik accomplishes all three deities together, which makes it a very special longevity practice. Another special feature of this sadhana is that the main deity is the female White Tara, in union with her consort, which is highly unusual. The main reason for doing this practice is to spread the teachings of the Buddha far and wide and to promote the well-being and happiness of all sentient beings, and also so that the practitioners may be free from illness, live long lives and quickly attain enlightenment. The Chime Phakme Nyingtik is widely considered the supreme practice to protect all the great holders of teachings, and to lengthen their lives. The Chime Phakme Nyingtik is the mind treasure revealed by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo in 1855, but in his biography it is found mentioned that he did not transcribe the entire cycle of Chime Pakme Nyingtik, but only the root sadhana as well as the sadhana and instruction cycle known as Vima Ladrup ( The Guru Sadhana of Vimalamitra) and that of White Tara, Amitayus and Ushnishavijaya. Then, for five years, Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo practised these teachings in complete secrecy before transmitting them.

Rinpoche will bestow the Ngozhi (the main part) empowerment of Chime Phakme Nyingtik at 7 pm but it is extremely important to have received the tagon (preparatory) empowerment.

White Tara Retreat session will be held from 9 am to 6 pm in 4 different sessions. 

Rinpoche will bestow the empowerment of Yamantaka at 8 pm. Yamantaka, who is known as 'The Destroyer or Slayer of Yama, the Lord of Death', is a wrathful form of Manjushri. There was a tale of a powerful yogi, while in his deep practice, some poachers not only butchered a Buffalo in the same cave but also slashed his head off in order to hide their misdeed. Upon reentering his consciousness, when he found his body headless, he attached the head of the buffalo which was lying around in the cave. This unspeakable mishap trapped him into emotional turbulence of ferociousness and he not only destroyed them but vented his boundless fury on whomever he met with his psychic power. To end this massacre, Manjushri took the warthful emanation of Yamantaka to subdue Yama. The wrathful Manjushri subdued the yogi from a malevolent force into a protector of dharma. Yamantaka practice aims to overcome all kinds of obstacles, eliminate all unfavorable conditions and protect the practitioner from all negative influences, as well as untimely death. The practice of Yamantaka also has the power to bring peace and tranquility to beings whose minds are filled with delusion and anger. In particular, Jampal Shinje Thugthig or Essence of the Heart of Manjusri Yamantaka is a precious teaching that comes from Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, a 19th Century Great Master who pioneered "Rime" or "Non-Sectarianism" in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.

The White Tara Retreat session will continue from 9 am to 6 pm in 4 different sessions. This is the second day of the white tara retreat and it would be recommended to all the participants who would like to join this retreat to receive the empowerment of Chime Phakme Nyigtik, both the Tagon and Ngozhi.

Rinpoche will go to Pura Dalem Pangambak temple at 9 am and will do Naga puja. 

October 4, 2023

Rinpoche will leave for Surabhaya at 11:45 am.
