This practice, as detailed in the Ritual Manual for the Secret Embodiment of the Guru, is revered for its transformative power and deep connection with Guru Rinpoche. The focus of this empowerment is to receive foundational blessings and transmissions necessary to begin the Lama Sangdu practice. This includes teachings on the essence of the practice, key visualizations, and mantras. It lays the groundwork for deeper engagement with the Lama Sangdu teachings and to establish a strong connection with the practice as imparted by Guru Rinpoche.
