- 7:30 pm: Rinpoche will bestow the Lama Sangdu Tagon Empowerment. This initiation introduces participants to the Lama Sangdu practice, also known as "The Brilliant Essence," and focuses on:Introduction to Lama Sangdu: An overview of the Lama Sangdu practice, a profound aspect of Guru Rinpoche's teachings. This practice, as detailed in the Ritual Manual for the Secret Embodiment of the Guru, is revered for its transformative power and deep connection with Guru Rinpoche. The focus of this empowerment is to receive foundational blessings and transmissions necessary to begin the Lama Sangdu practice. This includes teachings on the essence of the practice, key visualizations, and mantras. It lays the groundwork for deeper engagement with the Lama Sangdu teachings and to establish a strong connection with the practice as imparted by Guru Rinpoche.
8 September 2024
- 2:30 pm: Rinpoche will bestow the Lama Sangdu Ngoshi Empowerment. This empowerment builds upon the Tagon Empowerment, with a focus on:Advanced Teachings: Detailed instructions on the advanced aspects of the Lama Sangdu practice, including the more subtle aspects of Guru Rinpoche’s teachings as described in the Ritual Manual. Connection to Guru Rinpoche: Exploring the deeper significance of Lama Sangdu as a practice directly linked to Guru Rinpoche's secret embodiment teachings, enhancing understanding and connection. Practical Application: Guidance on incorporating these advanced teachings into one's practice, with emphasis on the transformative effects described in the manual.
9 September 2024
- 7:30 pm: Rinpoche will provide guidance on implementing the Lama Sangdu practice. This session will include: Daily Practice Routines: Detailed instructions on how to integrate Lama Sangdu into daily life, including specific rituals and meditative practices as outlined in the Ritual Manual. Practical Advice: Tips for deepening one’s connection with Guru Rinpoche through Lama Sangdu, addressing common challenges, and enhancing practice effectiveness. Implementation: Clarification on applying the teachings and blessings received during the empowerments in everyday settings.
13 September 2024
- 7:30 pm: Rinpoche will bestow the Vajrasattva Empowerment. This empowerment aims to:Purify negative karma and obstacles through the practice of Vajrasattva, teach participants the visualization of Vajrasattva, the embodiment of purity and introduce mantra recitation and meditation techniques for spiritual cleansing and transformation.
14 September 2024
- All day: Vajrasattva Retreat and Practice will be concluded with Nelung and Sur practice. Nelung: A traditional Tibetan Buddhist ceremony for the deceased to aid their transition to the next life. This includes performing specific rituals and prayers dedicated to the deceased, accumulating merit on behalf of the departed to aid their journey and ensure a favorable rebirth and engaging in practices that invoke blessings for the deceased’s liberation from suffering. Sur practice: An offering ritual that includes:Making offerings of various substances (such as grains, flowers, and incense) to deities, spirits, and protectors. Reciting specific prayers and mantras to purify obstacles and create auspicious conditions. Engaging in ritual activities to generate merit and invite blessings into the practitioner’s life and environment.
15 September 2024
- 9:30 am: Rinpoche will bestow the Dzambala Empowerment. This empowerment focuses on:Invoking the blessings of Dzambala, the deity of wealth and abundance. Following the empowerment, participants will engage in Dzambala practice to invoke and enhance wealth. Concluding with a session where participants can ask Rinpoche questions about Dzambala practice and its application.
16 September 2024
- 4:30 pm: Rinpoche will give the oral transmission of Barche Lamsel, Sampa Lhundrup, Sampa Nyurdrup.
