Empowerment of Guru Sampa Lhundrup by Simdha Getok Rinpoche at Bali

Rinpoche will do wangdrup at 9:30 am and  bestow the empowerment of Guru Sampa Lhundrup at 2.30 pm. At the conclusion of the empowerment, Ganachakra and special dedication will be held. When the master Padmasambhava was leaving for the land of the rākṣasa ogres in the south-west, the prince Mutri Tsenpo, then, who was the ruler of Tibet, was in great distress and requested Guru not to leave and in his despearation, seeked guru for his protection and asked in great agony, " what it will be of him, his land, his people and every being in the absence of Guru?" To this, Guru spoke, "King of Gungthang, patrons of the Dharma, ruler and subjects, carry out my instructions and practise this treasure teaching. For this is when my compassion, Padma’s compassion, will come, ever more swift and strong. Pray to me, constantly." Along with this treasure, Guru Padmasambhava gave such 13 similar pith instructions which were later concealed as treasure by Prince Mutri Tsenpo under the instruction of Guru Padmasambhava and this was discovered by Terton Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa. 

Prince Mutri Tsenpo mentioned that reciting these prayers whenever you feel threatened by suffering. To me and my unbroken royal line, and to those with the good fortune of acting according to Dharma, in general, all the buddhas are extremely kind: in particular, the Guru is inconceivably kind. So listen to my words, the words of a king who protects the Dharma: pray to the Guru constantly, and with deep devotion. From the slope of Drak Rinchen Barwa in Norbu Pünsüm in Dokham, he revealed the thirteen pith instructions of ‘The Guru’s Heart Practice: The Wish-Fulfilling Jewel’—Lamé Tukdrup Yishin Norbu. This prayer forms the outer practice of this revelation.
