The Chotrul Duchen Hundred Million Vajra Guru Heart Mantra Recitation

‘The Siddhi Mantra Dungdrup – The Hundred Million Nirmanakaya Guru Rinpoche Mantra Recitation from 14th February 2024 will lead by Simdha Getul Rinpoche in Eastern Nepal Dharan till 19th February Guru Rinpoche Day.

On the benefits of the Vajra Guru mantra, Guru Rinpoche said, “This is the essence mantra of all Sugatas, the accomplishment practice of all Victorious Buddhas in one. By meditating upon Me and reciting the Siddhi mantra, you will traverse the fifteen bhumis and five paths. It is the same as reading all the teachings of all the Buddhas of the three times.” Also, “This will awaken you from clinging to the solidity of appearing existence. It is the condensation of all the Victorious Buddhas of the three times. It is indivisible from all lamas. It subdues all elemental spirits and arrogant spirits. Dakinis and dharma protectors will gather like clouds. All the male and female dakas and dakinis be overjoyed and come to bestow supreme and common siddhis. If you do not receive signs of accomplishment, then I, Padmasambhava, have deceived sentient beings. Therefore, my future fortunate son, keep this in your heart. Samaya.” Also, “By reciting Padmasambhava’s twelve-syllable essence mantra twelve hundred thousand times, the seed of samsara will be eliminated. By reciting it 36 hundred thousand times, one will reach the level of the Awareness-Holders. By reciting it ten million times one will become equal to me, Padmasambhava.”

According to H.H Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche, "For the practice of approach it is generally said that one should recite the mantra of Guru Rinpoche 1,200,000 times. If we can accomplish these 1,200,000 recitations, it is said that we will receive the blessing of Guru Rinpoche. It is also said, “With ten million siddhis , you will reborn in a place of vidyadharas.” This means if you recite the Vajra Guru mantra ten million times, you will be reborn in a realm of vidyadharas. It is even said that if you recite the 1,200,000 accumulation seven times, you will become the same as Guru Rinpoche in this very life. By reciting the mantra ten million times (literally ‘one hundred times one hundred thousand times’) you will reach the stage from which you can never turn back. So the benefits of reciting the Vajra Guru mantra are truly inconceivable.”

As found in the translation of a treasure text which explains the Benza Guru Mantra, if this essence mantra, the Benza Guru mantra, is repeated as much as possible, a hundred times, a thousand times, ten thousand times, a hundred thousand times, a million, a ten million times, a hundred million times and so forth, if it is repeated in holy places, in temples, next to great rivers, in areas where gods and demons abound, if it is recited in these places by tantric practitioners with pure samaya, by people with monastic ordination who maintain their vows purely, by men and women who possess faith in the teachings, if they give rise to bodhicitta on a grand scale and recite this mantra, then the benefits and advantages and energy of such practice are truly inconceivable. This will avert all of the negative forces of disease, famine, unrest, bad harvests and all bad omens and indications in all the countries of the world, such that the rain will fall in a timely manner for the crops so there will always be a plentiful supply of water for agriculture and for human and animal life, and all regions and areas will experience prosperity and auspicious conditions.

We all should know that our teacher, the perfect Buddha, through his great skillfulness and limitless compassion, gave an unimaginable variety of nectar-like Dharma teachings according to the different predispositions, faculties, and fortune of beings. The most supreme, the very best of all those teachings, is this complete and deceitless clear light Secret Mantra Vajrayana vehicle through which one can accomplish buddhahood in one lifetime, in which there is the path of diligent practice for those whose are inclined to gradual progress, and the supreme sudden path for those of the sharpest faculties and who have a karmic connection from past lives. We have the good fortune and karmic connection to have faith in the Lama, Guru Rinpoche, and to be able to practice of all great Dzogchen practices which is compiled them all into one simple practice by many great accomplished masters, which encompasses the entire Nyingma Lineage, through which we can actually accomplish enlightenment in a single lifetime.

There is no practice commitment for attending this great accumulation of mantra except to accumulate the Vajra Guru Mantra as much as possible. We will update the accumulations periodically on our facebook, we will also try to open up in zoom meeting ( if internet is good enough ) If we all add up the recitation from all dharma disciples participants, it would be way above one hundred million. Every participant of dharma devotees, with no exception, would obtain the merit of 100 million recitations equally.  We request everyone to join in to accomplish this goal by practicing at home. Regardless of whether we reach that goal or surpass it, the more we recite the more beneficial it will be for the whole world." We dedicate this immeasurable merit for the world peace, world economic growth, harmony, uncertainty of epidemics, for great health, spiritual freedom, to be able to open eyes for true dharma, for the long life all precious lineage holder Gurus.
